I know where you live— where Satan’s throne is! And you are holding on to My name and did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness who was killed among you, where Satan lives.

Those who are wise will shine like the bright expanse of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.“ But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

He answered them,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.

Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.The reckless mind will gain knowledge, and the stammering tongue will speak clearly and fluently.

and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.

and others experienced mockings and scourgings, as well as bonds and imprisonment.They were stoned, they were sawed in two, they died by the sword, they wandered about in sheepskins, in goatskins, destitute, afflicted, and mistreated.The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and on mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.
