With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

He will pretend to praise those who have broken the covenant. He will lead them to do what is evil. But the people who know their God will firmly oppose him.

He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.

He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.

With flattery he will corrupt those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.

And by smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.

Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

With flattery he will corrupt those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.

Then with smooth words he will defile those who have rejected the covenant. But the people who are loyal to their God will act valiantly.

He will corrupt those who do wickedly against the covenant by flatteries; but the people who know their God will be strong, and take action.

It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice:“ Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (niv)

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well- fed calves. (niv)

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lieand so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
