遣兵戍守、彼眾玷污聖所及聖城、聖城或作聖所鞏固之城去日獻之祭、設殘賊可惡之物、

“ His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

“ His army will come and make the temple area‘ unclean.’ They will put a stop to the daily sacrifices. Then they will set up a hated thing that destroys.

Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

“ His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration.

从常献的祭被废除，并那带来荒凉的可憎者被设立的时候，必有一千两百九十天；

他将与许多人订立一个‘七’之久的坚固盟约；而在半个‘七’的时候，他将使祭物和供物止息。在那些可憎者的羽翼上，必出现一个带来荒凉的人，直到那被注定的灭绝倾泻在这带来荒凉的人身上。”

“当你们看见藉着先知但以理所说的‘那带来毁灭的亵渎者’站在圣地的时候——读者应当思考——

“当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的亵渎者’站在不该站的地方时——读者应当思考——那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；

它高抬自己，要高达天军之首；它还除掉给天军之首常献的祭，使他的圣所之地被丢弃。因罪过的缘故，天军与常献的祭一同被交出去；这小犄角把真理丢弃在地，它所做的都顺利。然后我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问那说话的：“这异象，就是有关常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所和天军被践踏之事，要到什么时候呢？”

“当你们看见耶路撒冷被军队包围的时候，你们那时就应当知道它的毁灭近了。

所以你们要当心，免得先知们所说的话临到你们：‘看吧，你们这些好讥诮的人哪！惊奇吧，灭亡吧！因为在你们的时代里，我要做一件事，就算有人向你们详细说明，你们也绝不会相信。’”

至于所提到的有关两千三百个晚上和早晨的异象是真实的，但你要封住这异象，因为这是关于将来许多的日子。”

他的力量必强盛，却不是出于自己的力量；他必带来极不寻常的毁灭，他所做的都顺利；他必毁灭强者和圣洁之民；

你所看见的那十只角，是十个王，他们还没有得到王权，然而他们要得到权柄，与那兽一同做王一段时间。
