又繼位者、所行卑賤、不宜踐位、乃因時值承平、以諂諛而得國、

“必有一个卑鄙的人兴起接续为王，人未曾将国的尊荣给他，他却趁人坦然无备的时候，用谄媚的话得国。

“后来，有一个卑鄙的人兴起接续他的王位，人未曾将国的尊荣给他，他却趁人无备的时候前来，用诡诈夺取政权。

“接着继位的是一个卑鄙的人。他无权继位，却乘人不备用奸计夺取王位。

“此后必有一个卑鄙的人兴起坐上王位；他没有被赐予王权的尊荣，却在人安稳无备的时候来到，以奸滑的手段抓取了王权。

「此後必有一個卑鄙的人興起坐上王位；他沒有被賜予王權的尊榮，卻在人安穩無備的時候來到，以奸猾的手段抓取了王權。

嗣其位者、為卑陋之夫、國位之榮、原不宜得、乃乘宴安之際、以諂諛而得國、

繼其位者卑陋之人、原不當得國榮、乘人不備之時、用狡譎之計獲國、

“ He will be succeeded by a contemptible person who has not been given the honor of royalty. He will invade the kingdom when its people feel secure, and he will seize it through intrigue.

“ After him, another king will take his place. Many people will hate him. He will not be honored as a king should be. He will lead an army into the kingdom when its people feel secure. He will make clever plans to capture it.

In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given. He shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

“ The next to come to power will be a despicable man who is not in line for royal succession. He will slip in when least expected and take over the kingdom by flattery and intrigue.

“ In his place a despised person will arise; royal honors will not be given to him, but he will come during a time of peace and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the majesty of kingship has not been conferred; but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

以詭譎克敵、心志驕侈、承平之際、殲滅眾民、違逆諸君之君、其敗亡也、豈由於人哉。

遭難之時、少得扶助、從其教者雖眾、然亦有詐偽之流、

四國末時、罪惡貫盈、又有王興、其貌莊嚴、中藏詭謀、

其口滑稽、如酥如油、心懷殺機、其詞柔媚、同於膏沐、利於鋒刃。

耶和華有命、告爾尼尼微王云、爾祚不長、爾上帝之殿、木偶金像、毀之殆盡、爾誠卑鄙、必於斯殞亡、

繼位者在樂郊、摧稅甚苛、無怒無鬥、不日殞亡、

爽約之人、被其諂媚、惟崇上帝者、猶為剛強、

族姓一人、將繼其位、大率軍旅、攻北王之城而克之、

維彼惡人、以遨以遊、若狂風之驟起兮。

頑嚚者無慷慨之名、貪婪者無博施之譽、

其子為可詛之事、以利知其惡而不責、我曾告之、必恆鞫其家。

耶路巴力子亞庇米力往於示劍、見母之兄弟、及母之族黨、請問於示劍之眾、耶路巴力之七十子轄爾、與一人轄爾、孰善。亦當念我與爾乃骨肉之親。母之兄弟以此言告於示劍之眾。僉曰、斯乃我兄弟也、遂心向亞庇米力、巴力庇立殿故有金、遂取七十予之、使用此以結納遊蕩之徒、為其僕從。亞庇米力往阿弗拉、入父家、取其兄弟七十人、殺於一石上、皆耶路巴力子也。所遺者惟季子約擔而已、因其自匿也。示劍人與米羅一族咸集、立亞庇米力為王、在示劍汛之橡下。約擔聞之、立於其哩心山巔、厲聲呼曰、示劍人尚聽我言、則上帝亦垂聽爾言。昔諸樹欲膏一樹、立之為王、謂橄欖曰、汝其轄我。曰、我果可以製油、供於上帝、利及人民、豈能棄此、以轄樹乎。諸樹謂無花果曰、汝其轄我、曰、吾味甚甘、我果甚嘉、豈能捨此、以轄樹乎。諸樹謂葡萄曰、汝其轄我。曰、我果可以製酒、以悅上帝、以娛人民、豈能棄此、以轄樹乎。諸樹謂棘曰、汝其轄我。棘曰、如爾誠欲膏我、立我為王、當藉我蔭為蔽、不然、願火自棘出、燬利巴嫩之柏香木。今爾立亞庇米力為王、如爾作為真實無妄、善待耶路巴力與其家眾、酬其夙恩、則可喜悅。蓋我父為爾戰鬥、冒死不顧、援爾出米田人手、惟爾今日攻擊其家、取其子七十人、殺於石上、立其婢之子亞庇米力為示劍王、豈非為爾兄弟之私乎。如爾今日所為、待耶路巴力、與其家眾、真實無妄、則願爾以亞庇米力為悅、亦願亞庇米力以爾為悅。不然、願火自亞庇米力出、燬示劍人、與米羅族、亦願火自示劍人及米羅族出、燬亞庇米力。

夙興、立於都門之側、凡有訟事詣王折中者、押沙龍招之曰、汝來自何邑。曰、僕自以色列族支派而至。押沙龍曰、爾事善理直、其如王未委人以鞫何。又曰、我願為士師於斯土、凡有訟事、咸詣我所、我必代之剖析。有就押沙龍欲拜之者、押沙龍舉手扶之而接吻焉。凡在以色列族中、欲詣王所以訟者、押沙龍待之若此、以是陰得人心。

維彼誕妄兮、則擯棄之、寅畏耶和華兮、則恭敬止、願既許兮、雖己有損、不易其志兮。

我見十角之間、忽生小角、先生三角之根、為其所拔、小角有目、若人有口能言、惟自矜誇、

四角之一、復生小角、遂成強大、東南二境、以及樂郊、為其所據、
