嗣其位者、為卑陋之夫、國位之榮、原不宜得、乃乘宴安之際、以諂諛而得國、

“必有一个卑鄙的人兴起接续为王，人未曾将国的尊荣给他，他却趁人坦然无备的时候，用谄媚的话得国。

“后来，有一个卑鄙的人兴起接续他的王位，人未曾将国的尊荣给他，他却趁人无备的时候前来，用诡诈夺取政权。

“后来，有一个卑鄙的人兴起接续他的王位，人未曾将国的尊荣给他，他却趁人无备的时候前来，用诡诈夺取政权。

“接着继位的是一个卑鄙的人。他无权继位，却乘人不备用奸计夺取王位。

必另有一个卑鄙的人兴起来代替他；虽然人未曾把王国的尊荣给这人，这人却乘人不备的时候来到，用奉承的话夺得了王国。

“此后必有一个卑鄙的人兴起坐上王位；他没有被赐予王权的尊荣，却在人安稳无备的时候来到，以奸滑的手段抓取了王权。

「此後必有一個卑鄙的人興起坐上王位；他沒有被賜予王權的尊榮，卻在人安穩無備的時候來到，以奸猾的手段抓取了王權。

又繼位者、所行卑賤、不宜踐位、乃因時值承平、以諂諛而得國、

繼其位者卑陋之人、原不當得國榮、乘人不備之時、用狡譎之計獲國、

“ He will be succeeded by a contemptible person who has not been given the honor of royalty. He will invade the kingdom when its people feel secure, and he will seize it through intrigue.

“ After him, another king will take his place. Many people will hate him. He will not be honored as a king should be. He will lead an army into the kingdom when its people feel secure. He will make clever plans to capture it.

In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given. He shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

“ The next to come to power will be a despicable man who is not in line for royal succession. He will slip in when least expected and take over the kingdom by flattery and intrigue.

“ In his place a despised person will arise; royal honors will not be given to him, but he will come during a time of peace and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the majesty of kingship has not been conferred; but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his place shall stand up a contemptible person, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

“ In his place a despised person will arise; royal honors will not be given to him, but he will come during a time of peace and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

“ Then there will arise in his place a despicable person to whom the royal honor has not been rightfully conferred. He will come on the scene in a time of prosperity and will seize the kingdom through deceit.

“ In his place a contemptible person will stand up, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom; but he will come in time of security, and will obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

彼用權術、成其詭譎、中心自大、乘民安居、多行殲滅、且起而抗逆萬君之君、然終必見折、非由人手、

彼隕亡時、少得扶助、然以諂諛而從之者亦多、

四國末期、悖逆之人、罪惡貫盈、有一王興、其貌猛厲、能明秘奧、

其口滑如酥、心乃為戰、其言柔於膏、實則露刃兮、

耶和華論敵、發命曰、以爾名而稱者、不復繼傳、雕鑄之像、我將滅於爾神之室、爾乃卑陋、我為爾造墓矣、

嗣其位者、使虐索者、遍行國內美地、惟彼無怒無戰、不日隕亡、

以諂諛惑背約行惡之人、惟識上帝之民、終必剛強而行、

惟自公主本族、將挺生一人、以嗣其位、統率軍旅、入北王之保障、攻而勝之、

庸劣居於人上、惡者隨在而遨遊兮、

愚魯者不復稱高明、慳吝者不復稱慷慨、

我曾告之、必鞫其家、蓋彼知子行惡、自招呪詛、而不之禁、

耶路巴力子亞比米勒往示劍、見其母之兄弟、及外祖之眷屬、語之曰、請爾謂示劍之眾曰、耶路巴力七十子治爾、與一人治爾、孰善、當念我與爾乃骨肉之親、其母之兄弟、以此言告示劍眾、僉曰、斯乃我兄弟也、遂歸心亞比米勒、由巴力比利土廟、取銀七十予之、亞比米勒用以募游蕩無賴之徒從之、乃往俄弗拉、入於父家、殺其兄弟七十人於一石上、皆耶路巴力子、僅遺季子約坦、因其自匿也、○示劍人暨米羅族、咸集於示劍誌石之橡下、立亞比米勒為王、或以告約坦、乃立於基利心山巔、揚聲呼曰、示劍人歟、其聽我言、致上帝亦聽爾言、昔諸樹欲膏一樹為其王、謂橄欖樹曰、請爾治我、橄欖樹曰、我有膏油、可以尊榮上帝與人、豈舍此而搖於眾樹之上乎、諸樹謂無花果樹曰、爾來治我、無花果樹曰、我味甘、我果佳、豈舍此而搖於眾樹之上乎、諸樹謂葡萄樹曰、爾來治我、葡萄樹曰、我之新釀、可以愉悅上帝與人、豈舍此而搖於眾樹之上乎、諸樹謂棘曰、爾來治我、棘曰、若誠膏我為王治爾、則來匿我蔭下、不然、則願火自棘出、燬利巴嫩之香柏、今爾立亞比米勒為王、如爾所為、果誠且義、善待耶路巴力及其家、酬其夙恩、則可喜悅、昔我父冒死為爾戰、拯爾脫於米甸人手、今爾起而攻我父家、殺其子七十人於一石上、立婢之子亞比米勒為示劍人王、以其為爾兄弟也、如爾今日待耶路巴力及其家、果誠且義、則可因亞比米勒而樂、彼亦可因爾而樂、否則願火自亞比米勒出、燬示劍人及米羅族、亦願火自示劍人及米羅族出、燬亞比米勒、

夙興、立於邑門途側、見有訟事宜受王鞫者、則呼之曰、爾屬何邑、曰、僕屬以色列某支派、押沙龍曰、爾事善且正、然王未嘗委人聽之、又曰、我深願立為士師於斯土、凡有爭端訟事、咸詣我所、我必為之公斷、或有近而拜之者、押沙龍伸手執之、而與接吻、凡以色列人欲詣王以訟者、押沙龍待之若此、因而陰得以色列人之心、○

奸惡者睥睨之、寅畏耶和華者尊重之、誓雖損己、不變其志、

我思維其角時、見一小角生於其中、前角中之三角、為小角所拔、小角有目若人、有口出言誇大、

其一又生小角、漸成極大、向南向東、亦向榮美之地、
