His sons will prepare for war and assemble a great army, which will sweep on like an irresistible flood and carry the battle as far as his fortress.

那像尼羅河上漲，像江河的水翻騰的是誰呢？埃及像尼羅河上漲，像江河的水翻騰；它說：‘我要上漲，淹蓋大地；我要毀滅城鎮和城裡的居民。’

六十二個七以後，受膏者必被剪除，一無所有（“一無所有”或譯：“不再存在”）；那將要來的領袖的人民必毀滅這城和聖所。結局必像洪水而來；必有爭戰直到末了；荒涼的事已經定了。

那些吃王膳的必毀滅他；他的軍隊必被沖沒，受重傷而倒斃的很多。

必有無數的軍兵在他面前像洪水沖沒，並且潰敗；立約的君也必這樣。

他必得著外族神的幫助，攻破堅固的堡壘；凡承認他的，他必使他們大得尊榮，又使他們管轄許多人，並且把土地分給他們作賞賜。“到了末期，南方王要和他交戰；北方王必帶著戰車、騎兵和大批戰船，像暴風一般來到他那裡；他必侵入列國，如洪水氾濫，橫掃而過。

因此，主必使大河又強又大的水臨到他們，就是亞述王和他一切威榮，水必漲起來，高過所有的水道；水要氾濫，漫過所有的河岸；然後必沖入猶大，漲溢氾濫，直到頸項，以馬內利啊！它展開的翅膀必遮遍你廣闊的地土。”

耶和華必使他們高聳而堅固的城牆傾倒下陷，落在地面，變作塵土。”
