有一位好像人子耶稣的站在这些灯台中间。祂长袍垂脚，金带围胸，头与发白如羊毛、洁白如雪，眼睛像火焰，双脚像炉中冶炼过的铜一样光亮，声音如同洪涛之声。祂右手拿着七颗星，口中吐出一把两刃的利剑，面貌如烈日放光。我一看见祂，便扑倒在祂脚前，像死了一样。祂把右手按在我身上，说：“不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，

他大喊的时候，声如狮吼，之后有七声雷鸣。我正要将雷鸣的意思记录下来，就听见天上有声音说：“你要封住七声雷鸣所说的事，别写下来。”

四个轮子的形状和结构都一样，好像轮套轮，如同闪耀的绿宝石。

我又看见四个基路伯天使旁各有一个闪耀如绿宝石的轮子。

这些活物像闪电一样往来飞驰。

他们移动时，翅膀发出的响声如洪涛之声，既像全能者的声音，又像军队的呐喊。活物站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。

他们的腿是直的，脚如同牛犊的蹄，都亮如磨光的铜。

我看见另一位大力天使从天而降。他身披云霞，头顶彩虹，脸如太阳，双腿如火柱，

第四行是水苍玉、红玛瑙和碧玉。这些宝石都要用金框围着，镶在胸牌上。

第五块是红玛瑙，第六块是红宝石，第七块是橄榄石，第八块是水苍玉，第九块是黄宝石，第十块是翡翠，第十一块是紫玛瑙，第十二块是紫晶。

耶稣在祷告的时候，容貌改变了，衣裳洁白发光。
