耶穌對他們說，『那麼大衛在聖靈感動中怎麼還稱他為主，說：「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵在你腳下」呢？

從來沒有人見過上帝；惟有在父懷裏的獨生子將他表彰出來。

永恆主的使者沒有再向瑪挪亞和他妻子顯現，瑪挪亞才知道他是永恆主的使者。瑪挪亞對他妻子說：『我們一定死的，因為我們看見了上帝。』他妻子卻對他說：『永恆主若有意思要殺死我們，他就不從我們手裏接納燔祭和素祭，也不讓我們看見這一切事，更不在這時候讓我們聽到這一類話呀。』

你們也要說：「看哪，你僕人雅各還在我們後邊呢。」』因為雅各心裏說：『我用在我前面走的禮物去解他的恨，然後再見他的面，或者他會讓我的臉抬得起。』

大衛在聖靈感動中親自說：「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵在你腳下。」
