他們看見以色列的神，他腳下彷彿有平鋪的藍寶石，如同天色明淨。他的手不加害在以色列的尊者身上。他們觀看神；他們又吃又喝。

耶穌說：「這樣，大衛被聖靈感動，怎麼還稱他為主，說：主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我把你仇敵放在你的腳下。

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裏的獨生子將他表明出來。

耶和華的使者不再向瑪挪亞和他的妻顯現，瑪挪亞才知道他是耶和華的使者。瑪挪亞對他的妻說：「我們必要死，因為看見了神。」他的妻卻對他說：「耶和華若要殺我們，必不從我們手裏收納燔祭和素祭，並不將這一切事指示我們，今日也不將這些話告訴我們。」

並且你們要說：『你僕人雅各在我們後邊。』」因雅各心裏說：「我藉着在我前頭去的禮物解他的恨，然後再見他的面，或者他容納我。」

大衛被聖靈感動，說：主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳。
