But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

斯時必有大難、自生民以來、越之於今、未之有也、大君米加勒必將崛興、扞衛爾民、凡名錄於册者、必蒙拯救。

至上天使米迦勒、與魔鬼爭摩西屍、猶不敢詬誶定其罪、惟曰、主責爾矣、

敵國於猶大族建殿時則阻之、使畏難而止。巴西王古列在位之日、至巴西王大利烏即位之年、敵國之民賄通議士、以敗其成。亞哈隨魯即位之時、敵人赴愬於王、訟猶大族耶路撒冷民。

於是耶路撒冷、建殿之事以寢、逮乎巴西王大利烏二年。
