耶和华啊，求你不要让我的心偏向邪恶，免得我与恶人同流合污；也不要让我吃他们的美食。

你们将不能再住在耶和华的土地上。以法莲要返回埃及，在亚述吃不洁之物。你们将不能再献奠祭给耶和华，你们的祭牲也不蒙悦纳。这些祭物如居丧之人的食物，吃的人都被玷污。你们的食物只能供自己吃，不能带进耶和华的殿。

我是耶和华，我带你们离开埃及，为要做你们的上帝。你们要圣洁，因为我是圣洁的。“以上是有关飞禽走兽、水族和地上一切爬虫的条例，使你们可以分清什么是洁净的、什么是不洁净的、什么是可吃的、什么是不可吃的。”

你们看以色列人，那些吃祭物的难道不是有份于祭坛吗？我这话是什么意思呢？是说偶像和祭偶像的食物有什么特别吗？当然不是，我的意思是那些异教徒所献的祭是祭鬼魔的，而不是献给上帝的。我不愿意你们与鬼魔有任何关系。你们不能又喝主的杯又喝鬼魔的杯，不能又吃主的圣餐又吃祭鬼魔的食物。

你们这些恶人离开我吧，我要顺从上帝的命令。

如果这人心里确信自己没有结婚的需要，又能自己作主，打定主意不结婚，这样做也好。

它们吃你们祭牲的脂肪，喝你们的奠酒。让它们起来帮助你们，庇护你们吧！

他到达后，看见上帝所赐的恩典，就万分高兴，劝勉他们要全心地忠于主。

各人心里想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉强，不要为难。因为捐得甘心乐意的人才是上帝所喜爱的。

王安排他们每日享用一份御用的膳食和酒。他们要受教养三年，期满后好在王身边供职。

不过，如果有人告诉你这些是献给偶像的祭物，你为了那告诉你的人和良心的缘故，就不要吃。不过我指的不是你的良心，而是那人的良心。或许有人说：“我的自由为什么要受别人的良心限制呢？如果我存感恩的心吃，为什么还要受批评呢？”所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为上帝的荣耀而做。

我曾经起誓，我必信守诺言：我要遵行你公义的法令。

不过，并不是所有的人都有这种知识。有些人因为以前拜惯了偶像，现在吃到某些食物就觉得是祭过偶像的，因而良心不安，觉得自己被玷污了。其实食物并不能改变上帝对我们的看法，我们不吃也没有损失，吃了也不会更好。但你们要小心，不要让你们的自由绊倒那些信心软弱的人。如果有人看见你这明白以上道理的人竟然坐在偶像的庙中吃喝，他虽然良心不安，岂不还是会放胆吃献给偶像的祭物吗？

如果你吃的东西令弟兄姊妹不安，你就不是凭爱心行事。你不可因为一点食物而损害基督舍命救赎的人。所以，不要让你们认为好的事被别人诟病。因为上帝的国不是关乎吃什么喝什么，而是关乎公义、平安和圣灵所赐的喜乐。

彼得却说：“主啊！这可不行！我从未吃过任何污秽不洁之物。”那声音又一次对他说：“上帝已经洁净的，你不可再称之为不洁净。”这样一连三次之后，那块布就被收回天上去了。

我想为我的上帝耶和华建殿，因为耶和华曾对我父大卫说，‘我必使你的儿子继承你的王位，他必为我的名建殿。’

你死在哪里，我也死在哪里、葬在哪里。只有死才能把我们分开。否则，愿耶和华重重地惩罚我！”拿俄米见路得坚决要跟她走，就不再劝阻她了。
