The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.

宦官長告但以理曰、我畏我主我王、彼賜糈糧酒醴、如見爾曹形容憔悴、不及同儕、則必喪我元、宦官長使酒正統理但以理、哈拿尼亞米沙利亞薩哩亞四人、但以理告之曰、

法老賜約瑟名曰、撒納巴尼、以安之祭司波提非拉女亞西納妻之、約瑟覲埃及王法老時、年已三十、遂遍巡埃及四方。

但以理又名伯底沙撒王問曰、我夢與兆、爾能詳述乎。
