And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure house of his god.

The Lord handed Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, over to him. Nebuchadnezzar also took some of the objects from God’s temple. He carried them off to the temple of his god in Babylon. He put them among the treasures of his god.

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God. And he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and placed the vessels in the treasury of his god.

The Lord gave him victory over King Jehoiakim of Judah and permitted him to take some of the sacred objects from the Temple of God. So Nebuchadnezzar took them back to the land of Babylonia and placed them in the treasure house of his god.

主必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極攻擊爾、斯民之言、爾所不識、其容兇暴、不顧惜老人、不矜恤嬰孩、爾畜之所生、爾土之所產、俱必吞食、使爾殲絕、爾穀酒與油、爾牛群羊群盡取不留、使爾滅亡、圍困爾於爾諸城中、在爾四境、使爾所恃高聳鞏固之城垣俱陷、敵必困爾於爾諸城中、在主所賜爾之全地、

自東方而徙、在示拿地遇平原居焉、

其初立國、在巴別、以力、亞甲、甲尼、俱在示拿地、

非利士人之諸伯咸集、欲獻大祭於其神大袞、且宴樂、彼曰、我之神已以我敵參孫付我手矣、非利士民見參孫、頌美其神曰、我敵曾毀我土地、殺我多人、今我神付之於我手、

誰使雅各遭攘奪、誰付以色列於刼掠者、豈非主乎、因我儕獲罪於主、不欲行主道、不聽從主之律法、

伯沙撒王飲至半酣、命人將其父父或作祖尼布甲尼撒、自耶路撒冷之殿中、所取取或作掠出下同之金銀器皿、攜之至、使王與大臣妃嬪、以之飲酒、於是以其金銀器皿、自耶路撒冷天主之殿中所取者、攜之至、王與大臣及妃嬪、遂以之飲酒、

乃斬掃羅首級、褫其戎衣、遣人遍行非利士四境、報捷於偶像廟及民間、置其兵器於亞斯他錄廟、釘其屍於伯珊城垣、

交之於異邦人手、使之受敵人轄制、遭仇敵凌逼、悉伏於敵人手下、

王為諸王之王、天上之天主、賜王以國、以權、以能、以榮、居各地之人民、野獸、飛鳥、主使咸歸王掌握、主使咸歸王掌握或作主皆付於王手使王統轄一切、金首即王也、

王歟、至上之天主、以國威尊榮、賜爾父尼布甲尼撒、

故向網獻祭、向罟焚香、因由此得分豐美、豐美原文作肥膩得食豐裕、

當是時主復伸手、以救其遺民、即在亞述、伊及、帕特羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈末、及海島所遺之民、
