If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

“ I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king’s demand.”

You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts.

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision.

Then He said,“ Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.

For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?”

“ Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, because I know that the Spirit of the Holy God is in you, and no secret troubles you, explain to me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation.“ These were the visions of my head while on my bed: I was looking, and behold, A tree in the midst of the earth, And its height was great.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.Thus Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt.For he was wiser than all men— than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds.

For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him.

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper.

There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father— your father the king— made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.

Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying:“ I remember my faults this day.When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and the chief baker,we each had a dream in one night, he and I. Each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream.Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream.And it came to pass, just as he interpreted for us, so it happened. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.And Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.”

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.

wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.”

In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me— to me, Daniel— after the one that appeared to me the first time.

( Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you!

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.
