Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

He said to them,“ To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

However in the assembly I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in another language.Brothers, don’t be children in thoughts, yet in malice be babies, but in thoughts be mature.In the law it is written,“ By men of strange languages and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people. They won’t even hear me that way, says the Lord.”Therefore other languages are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving; but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe.If therefore the whole assembly is assembled together and all speak with other languages, and unlearned or unbelieving people come in, won’t they say that you are crazy?But if all prophesy, and someone unbelieving or unlearned comes in, he is reproved by all, and he is judged by all.And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word,

So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
