And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

A person should consider us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of God’s mysteries.In this regard, it is expected of managers that each one of them be found faithful.

My sons, don’t be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, and to be His ministers and burners of incense.”

I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and because of His appearing and His kingdom:Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching.For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new.They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.But as for you, be serious about everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.

So Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord meant when He said: I will show My holiness to those who are near Me, and I will reveal My glory before all the people.” But Aaron remained silent.

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding irreverent, empty speech and contradictions from the“ knowledge” that falsely bears that name.

They must teach My people the difference between the holy and the common, and explain to them the difference between the clean and the unclean.“ In a dispute, they will officiate as judges and decide the case according to My ordinances. They must observe My laws and statutes regarding all My appointed festivals, and keep My Sabbaths holy.

“ You are to guard the sanctuary and the altar so that wrath may not fall on the Israelites again.

But you, man of God, run from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life that you were called to and have made a good confession about in the presence of many witnesses.In the presence of God, who gives life to all, and of Christ Jesus, who gave a good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge youto keep the command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.

If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished by the words of the faith and the good teaching that you have followed.

And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

When they had appointed elders in every church and prayed with fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
