彼為爾曹及老底嘉並希拉波立人、甚有熱心、我可為證、

渠為爾等、並為洛底嘉及耶拉保利同人、甘受多辛、此予可為渠證明也。

I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis.

I am happy to tell you that he is working very hard for you. He is also working hard for everyone in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

For I bear him witness that he has worked hard for you and for those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis.

我希望你們知道，我為你們和那些在勞迪西亞的人，以及一切沒有親自看到我面的人，有多麼大的爭戰，

請問候在勞迪西亞的弟兄們，還有寧法以及在她家裡的教會。這封書信在你們那裡宣讀了以後，也一定要在勞迪西亞的教會中宣讀；你們也要宣讀從勞迪西亞轉來的書信。

因為我可以見證他們是按著自己的能力，甚至超過了自己的能力，甘心樂意，

我見證他們對神有熱心，但不是按著真正的認識。

「你要給那在勞迪西亞教會的使者寫信說：「那位阿們，就是那信實的、真實的見證者，神創造之物的本源，這樣說：我知道你的行為，你既不冷也不熱；我真希望你或冷或熱。正因為你是溫的，既不熱也不冷，我就要把你從我口中吐出去，因為你說『我是富有的；我發了財，什麼都不缺』，卻不知道你是可悲的、可憐的、貧窮的、瞎眼的、赤身的。我建議你向我買被火煉過的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥抹你的眼睛，使你能看見。

說：「把你所看見的寫在書卷上，送到那七個教會：以弗所、士每拿、佩爾伽馬、錫亞蒂拉、薩迪斯、費拉德菲亞和勞迪西亞。」
