因为我们如果把那起初的确信，坚定地持守到底，我们就成为基督的同伴了。

因此，各位蒙爱的人哪，你们既然预先知道了这些，就应该警惕，免得被那些恶人的迷惑引入歧途，从自己坚固的地步坠落。你们要在我们的主、救主耶稣基督的恩典和知识中不断长进。愿荣耀归于他，从现在直到永远之日！阿们。

以免像他们的祖先，成为顽梗悖逆、心里不坚定、灵里对神不忠实的一代。
