For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

So even though I am away from you in body, I am with you in spirit. And I am glad to see that you are controlling yourselves. I am happy that your faith in Christ is so strong.

你們要警醒，在信仰上堅定不移，做勇敢剛強的人。

弟兄姊妹，我們暫時與你們分離，心靈卻與你們在一起。我們非常渴望見到你們。

你們要以堅固的信心抵擋牠，要知道世界各地的弟兄姊妹在遭受同樣的苦難。

現在，我雖然身在遠方，心卻在你們那裡。我已經審判了做這事的人，就像親自在場一樣。你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚會時，我的心並我們主耶穌的權能也與你們同在。

但無論做什麼事，都要按規矩，有次序。

所以，我親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們務要堅定不移，總要竭力做主的工作，因為你們知道自己在主裡面的辛勤付出不會白費。

如果我們將起初的信念堅持到底，便在基督裡有份了。

因此，親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們既然預先知道了這些事，就應該提防，不要讓那些不法之徒用錯謬的理論引誘你們，使你們失去原本堅固的立場。相反，你們要在我們的主和救主耶穌基督的恩典中不斷長進，越來越認識祂。願榮耀歸給祂，從現在直到永遠。阿們！

也不會像自己的祖先那樣頑梗叛逆，對上帝不忠，心懷二意。

他們不忠於祂，也不信守祂的約。

得知你們靠著主堅定不移，我們現在感到振奮。

我們有這盼望作我們靈魂的錨，既安穩又可靠，一直通往聖幕裡面的至聖所。

他們獻上大量的燔祭，以及很多平安祭祭牲的脂肪和與燔祭同獻的奠祭。從此，耶和華殿裡的事奉恢復了。

如果有人饑餓，可以在家中先吃，免得你們聚會的時候自招審判。至於其餘的事，等我到了以後再安排。

他們都一心遵守使徒的教導，一起團契、掰餅、禱告。

拿俄米見路得堅決要跟她走，就不再勸阻她了。

我希望你們知道，為了你們和老底嘉人，以及許多從未和我見過面的人，我是怎樣努力奮鬥的，
