竟不愛戴元首、全體惟藉厥首、百節維繫、相承鞏固、賴上帝以生以長、

由其欲心、妄自誇許、不愛戴元首、不知全體賴首、以百節維繫、輔助聯絡、能按天主之旨而日長也、

殊不知元首為全體之綱領、全體之筋脈骨節、賴之以生、賴之以固、賴之以調暢滋長於天主懷中。

They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.

They aren’t connected anymore to the head, who is Christ. But the whole body grows from the head. The muscles and tendons hold the body together. And God causes it to grow.

and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.

He doesn’t hold on to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and held together by its ligaments and tendons, grows with growth from God.

and not holding firmly to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.

and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

and not holding fast the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

He has not held fast to the head from whom the whole body, supported and knit together through its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God.

and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head— Christ.From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble,

May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me.

Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function,in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another.

who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human,who gave Himself— a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

In fact, you are doing this toward all the brothers in the entire region of Macedonia. But we encourage you, brothers, to do so even more,

And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church,

My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.

Now the large group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but instead they held everything in common.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree,

so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the good news about the Messiah.But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him!As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

The cup of blessing that we give thanks for, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for all of us share that one bread.

Take note! I, Paul, tell you that if you get yourselves circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all.Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to keep the entire law.You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

We must always thank God for you, brothers. This is right, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything.

He has stripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head.He tears me down on every side so that I am ruined. He uproots my hope like a tree.His anger burns against me, and He regards me as one of His enemies.His troops advance together; they construct a ramp against me and camp around my tent.

fulfill my joy by thinking the same way, having the same love, sharing the same feelings, focusing on one goal.Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus,

And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone, just as we also do for you.

Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him,rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude.Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elemental forces of the world, and not based on Christ.For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ,

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.

For no one ever hates his own flesh but provides and cares for it, just as Christ does for the church,

Just one thing: Live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, working side by side for the faith that comes from the gospel,

For as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body— so also is Christ.For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free— and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.So the body is not one part but many.If the foot should say,“ Because I’m not a hand, I don’t belong to the body,” in spite of this it still belongs to the body.And if the ear should say,“ Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” in spite of this it still belongs to the body.If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?But now God has placed each one of the parts in one body just as He wanted.And if they were all the same part, where would the body be?Now there are many parts, yet one body.So the eye cannot say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”But even more, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are necessary.And those parts of the body that we think to be less honorable, we clothe these with greater honor, and our unpresentable parts have a better presentation.But our presentable parts have no need of clothing. Instead, God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable,so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other.So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.

Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.

I want their hearts to be encouraged and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery— Christ.
