敗諸執政者秉權者、擄掠之而示於眾、賴十字架勝之而凱旋、○

於以解除群魔之武裝、揭其慘敗、而慶聖架之凱旋。

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out.And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”

When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said,“ It is completed!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.

Can spoils be taken from a warrior, or captives be rescued from a conqueror?Indeed,” says the LORD,“ captives will be taken from a warrior; spoils will be rescued from a conqueror. I will oppose your adversary and I will rescue your children.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it.So then, exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you both see and hear.For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says,‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right handuntil I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

He seized the dragon– the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan– and tied him up for a thousand years.The angel then threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it so that he could not deceive the nations until the one thousand years were finished.( After these things he must be released for a brief period of time.)

One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying,“ Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!”But the other rebuked him, saying,“ Don’t you fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing wrong.”Then he said,“ Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.”And Jesus said to him,“ I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.
