首節所謂「牲牷」、「祭禮」、「燔祭」、「贖罪祭」、「皆非爾所喜」者、悉屬律法之事也。繼乃曰：「我來」「行爾旨；」是則前者廢而後者立矣。

前幕乃現世之象徵也。凡現世所獻之禮品祭祀、皆不能使敬禮者之良心、臻於清明純粹之境界。蓋此等飲食盥滌之規、僅屬外表儀式、舊時所設、而有待乎革新者也。

竊謂嗣子雖為業主、方在稚齡、則亦無異奴僕、必受師傅家宰之監護、以待父命承嗣之日。吾人亦然、方吾人之尚屬幼稚、亦受制於世俗之蒙學；時既成熟、天主乃遣其聖子、使之出於婦人之腹、而生於律法之下、

是以爾當悔悟、棄邪歸正用消宿罪庶幾和平安樂之日、萬物同春之時、當可自主而臨；

蓋其不法之隱圖、已在醞釀、惟尚有為之阻礙者、故其一時未能遽發；一俟阻礙見除、

二人居仁由義、昭事天主、遵行誡命、靡有愆忒、

灑以靈莧。澡雪吾魂。載洗載濯。玉潔冰清。
