為此，我們自從聽到這事的那一天起，就不斷地為你們禱告和祈求：願你們藉著一切屬靈的智慧和悟性，能被神旨意的真正知識所充滿；

故我儕自聞之之日、為爾祈禱不已、俾爾充諸靈智靈識、洞悉其旨、

我儕聞之、為爾祈禱不輟、願爾感聖神得智慧、備知其旨、

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

For this reason we also, since the day we heard about it, have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

惟獨從上頭來的智慧，先是清潔，後是和平、溫良、柔順，滿有憐憫和美善的果子，沒有偏私，沒有虛偽。

你們要把握時機，用智慧與外人來往。

你們中間若有缺少智慧的，該求那厚賜與眾人又不斥責人的上帝，上帝必賜給他。

我所禱告的就是：要你們的愛心，在知識和各樣見識上，不斷增長，使你們能分辨是非，在基督的日子作真誠無可指責的人，更靠着耶穌基督結滿仁義的果子，歸榮耀稱讚給上帝。

因為上帝的旨意原是要你們以行善來堵住糊塗無知人的口。

在各樣善事上裝備你們，使你們遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶穌基督在我們裏面行他所喜悅的事。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

因此，我既然聽見你們對主耶穌有信心，對眾聖徒有愛心，就不住地為你們感謝上帝，禱告的時候常常提到你們，求我們主耶穌基督的上帝，榮耀的父，把那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賜給你們，使你們真正認識他，照亮你們心中的眼睛，使你們知道他呼召你們來得的指望是甚麼，他在聖徒中所得榮耀的基業是何等豐盛，並知道他向我們這些信的人所顯的能力是何等浩大，這是照他的大能大力運行的。這大能曾運行在基督身上，使他從死人中復活，又使他在天上坐在自己的右邊，

至於我，我如果停止為你們禱告，就得罪耶和華了，我絕不會這樣做。我必以善道正路指教你們。

求你指教我遵行你的旨意，因你是我的上帝；願你至善的靈引我到平坦之地。

為此，我們常為你們禱告，願我們的上帝看你們與他的呼召相配，又用大能成就你們一切良善的美意和因信心所做的工作，

不住地禱告，

你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了上帝的旨意，可以獲得所應許的。

不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為上帝的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

因此，我在父面前屈膝－天上地上的各家都是從他得名的－為要他按着他豐盛的榮耀，藉着他的靈，使你們內心的力量剛強起來；又要他使基督因着你們的信住在你們心裏，使你們既在愛中生根立基，能夠和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等的長、闊、高、深，並知道這愛是超過人的知識所能測度的，為要使你們充滿上帝一切的豐盛。

我們為你們禱告的時候，常常感謝我們主耶穌基督的父上帝，因為聽見你們對基督耶穌的信心，並對眾聖徒有的愛心。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道豐豐富富的存在心裏，用詩篇、讚美詩、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，以感恩的心歌頌上帝。

在我們的父上帝面前，不住地記念你們因信心所做的工作，因愛心所受的勞苦，因盼望我們主耶穌基督所存的堅忍。

這世界和世上的情慾都要消逝，惟獨那遵行上帝旨意的人永遠常存。

這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到普天下，並且繼續增長，不斷結果，正如自從你們聽見福音，真正知道上帝恩惠的日子起，在你們中間也是這樣。

充充足足地賞給我們的。他以諸般的智慧聰明，

我在禱告中記念你的時候，常為你感謝我的上帝，

每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，總是歡歡喜喜地祈求，

有一位你們那裏的人，作基督耶穌僕人的以巴弗問候你們。他禱告的時候常為你們竭力祈求，願你們能站穩而成熟，充分確信上帝一切的旨意。

不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。

不要只在人的眼前這樣做，像僅是討人的喜歡，而是作基督的僕人，從心裏遵行上帝的旨意，

使你們從今以後不再隨從人的情慾，只順從上帝的旨意，在世度餘下的光陰。

人若立志要遵行上帝的旨意，就會知道這教導究竟是出於上帝，還是我憑着自己說的。

總要察驗甚麼是主所喜悅的事。

我比我的教師更通達，因我思想你的法度。

我感謝上帝，就是我接續祖先用純潔的良心所事奉的上帝，在祈禱中晝夜不停地想念你。我一想起你的眼淚，就急切想見你，好讓我滿心快樂。

首先，我靠着耶穌基督，為你們眾人感謝我的上帝，因你們的信德傳遍了天下。我在他兒子的福音上，用心靈所事奉的上帝可以見證，我怎樣不住地提到你們，在我的禱告中常常懇求，或許照上帝的旨意，最終我能毫無阻礙地往你們那裏去。

因為你們在他裏面凡事富足，具有各種口才、各樣知識，

於是彼得被囚在監裏，教會卻為他切切禱告上帝。
