For this cause we also, since the day we heard[ it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,[ and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all[ men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and[ in] all judgment;That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom[ be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,And what[ is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

Teach me to do thy will; for thou[ art] my God: thy spirit[ is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of[ this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of[ his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:

Pray without ceasing.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what[ is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,May be able to comprehend with all saints what[ is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love[ which ye have] to all the saints,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Which is come unto you, as[ it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as[ it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard[ of it], and knew the grace of God in truth:

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

Epaphras, who is[ one] of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord[ is].

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

That he no longer should live the rest of[ his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or[ whether] I speak of myself.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies[ are] my meditation.

I thank God, whom I serve from[ my] forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and[ in] all knowledge;

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
