為此，我們自從聽到這事的那一天起，就不斷地為你們禱告和祈求：願你們藉著一切屬靈的智慧和悟性，能被神旨意的真正知識所充滿；

故我儕自聞之之日、為爾祈禱不已、俾爾充諸靈智靈識、洞悉其旨、

我儕聞之、為爾祈禱不輟、願爾感聖神得智慧、備知其旨、

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

For this reason we also, since the day we heard about it, have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

惟獨從上頭來的智慧，先是清潔，後是和平，溫良柔順，滿有憐憫，多結善果，沒有偏見，沒有假冒。

你們要愛惜光陰，用智慧與外人交往。

你們中間若有缺少智慧的，應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的神，主就必賜給他。

我所禱告的，就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多，使你們能分別是非，作誠實無過的人，直到基督的日子；並靠着耶穌基督結滿了仁義的果子，叫榮耀稱讚歸與神。

因為神的旨意原是要你們行善，可以堵住那糊塗無知人的口。

在各樣善事上成全你們，叫你們遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶穌基督在你們心裏行他所喜悅的事。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

因此，我既聽見你們信從主耶穌，親愛眾聖徒，就為你們不住地感謝神。禱告的時候，常提到你們，求我們主耶穌基督的神，榮耀的父，將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們，使你們真知道他，並且照明你們心中的眼睛，使你們知道他的恩召有何等指望，他在聖徒中得的基業有何等豐盛的榮耀；並知道他向我們這信的人所顯的能力是何等浩大，就是照他在基督身上所運行的大能大力，使他從死裏復活，叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊，

至於我，斷不停止為你們禱告，以致得罪耶和華。我必以善道正路指教你們。

求你指教我遵行你的旨意，因你是我的神。你的靈本為善；求你引我到平坦之地。

因此，我們常為你們禱告，願我們的神看你們配得過所蒙的召，又用大能成就你們一切所羨慕的良善和一切因信心所做的工夫，

不住地禱告，

你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了神的旨意，就可以得着所應許的。

不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

因此，我在父面前屈膝，（天上地上的各家，都是從他得名。）求他按着他豐盛的榮耀，藉着他的靈，叫你們心裏的力量剛強起來，使基督因你們的信，住在你們心裏，叫你們的愛心有根有基，能以和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等長闊高深，並知道這愛是過於人所能測度的，便叫神一切所充滿的，充滿了你們。

我們感謝神我們主耶穌基督的父，常常為你們禱告；因聽見你們在基督耶穌裏的信心，並向眾聖徒的愛心，

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。

在神－我們的父面前，不住地記念你們因信心所做的工夫，因愛心所受的勞苦，因盼望我們主耶穌基督所存的忍耐。

這世界和其上的情慾都要過去，惟獨遵行神旨意的，是永遠常存。

這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到普天之下，並且結果，增長，如同在你們中間，自從你們聽見福音，真知道神恩惠的日子一樣。

這恩典是神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的；

我禱告的時候提到你，常為你感謝我的神；

每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，常是歡歡喜喜地祈求。

有你們那裏的人，作基督耶穌僕人的以巴弗問你們安。他在禱告之間，常為你們竭力地祈求，願你們在神一切的旨意上得以完全，信心充足，能站立得穩。

不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。

不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，要像基督的僕人，從心裏遵行神的旨意。

你們存這樣的心，從今以後就可以不從人的情慾，只從神的旨意在世度餘下的光陰。

人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必曉得這教訓或是出於神，或是我憑着自己說的。

總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。

我比我的師傅更通達，因我思想你的法度。

我感謝神，就是我接續祖先用清潔的良心所事奉的神。祈禱的時候，不住的想念你，記念你的眼淚，晝夜切切地想要見你，好叫我滿心快樂。

第一，我靠着耶穌基督，為你們眾人感謝我的神，因你們的信德傳遍了天下。我在他兒子福音上，用心靈所事奉的神可以見證，我怎樣不住地提到你們；在禱告之間常常懇求，或者照神的旨意，終能得平坦的道路往你們那裏去。

又因你們在他裏面凡事富足，口才、知識都全備，

於是彼得被囚在監裏；教會卻為他切切地禱告神。
