For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

故我儕自聞之之日、為爾祈禱不已、俾爾充諸靈智靈識、洞悉其旨、

我儕聞之、為爾祈禱不輟、願爾感聖神得智慧、備知其旨、

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

For so is the will of God, that by well- doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well- pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which ye show toward all the saints,cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us- ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his mightwhich he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah in ceasing to pray for you: but I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.

To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and every work of faith, with power;

pray without ceasing;

For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.

We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

I thank my God always, making mention of thee in my prayers,

always in every supplication of mine on behalf of you all making my supplication with joy,

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

not in the way of eyeservice, as men- pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.

proving what is well- pleasing unto the Lord;

I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation.

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers in a pure conscience, how unceasing is my remembrance of thee in my supplications, night and daylonging to see thee, remembering thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayersmaking request, if by any means now at length I may be prospered by the will of God to come unto you.

that in everything ye were enriched in him, in all utterance and all knowledge;

Peter therefore was kept in the prison: but prayer was made earnestly of the church unto God for him.
