For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called— his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.

This letter is from Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, appointed by the command of God our Savior and Christ Jesus, who gives us hope.

For God, who said,“ Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,and we have a priceless inheritance— an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I’m going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives.

I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.“ Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

Jesus replied,“ All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.

And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:“ I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

“ I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory.

But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.

Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.

Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased himto reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being.

You won’t be able to say,‘ Here it is!’ or‘ It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”

which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News.

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.

And we have received God’s Spirit( not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths.But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.

Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
