蓋萬有本之而造、在天在地、有形無形、或位或權、或執政者、或有能者、皆由之而造、且歸之焉、

萬物以之而造、不論在天在地、有形無形、有位執政權力者、皆以之造、而歸向之、

蓋萬物藉之而造、無論在天在地、有形無形、有位者、主治者、執政者、秉權者、皆藉彼而造、亦為彼而造、

萬有皆本乎基督而受造焉；無論在天、在地、有形無形之物、以及一切爵位權德諸品天神、未有不因基督、為基督、而受造者也。

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.

and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,but you are the same, and your years have no end.

For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses— as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself.( For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.
