又願爾得主大力、實能忍耐喜樂、

又循其榮之權能、使爾凡事有大力、能恆忍寛容而喜樂、

體認天主、日新又新、仰賴天主榮耀之宏能，充以神力、俾克忍耐諸苦、顛沛造次、不改其樂；

being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,

We want you to be very strong, in keeping with his glorious power. We want you to be patient. We pray that you will never give up.

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

He has said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,

They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Jesus’ name.

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, moreover by bonds and imprisonment.They were stoned. They were sawn apart. They were tempted. They were slain with the sword. They went around in sheep skins and in goat skins; being destitute, afflicted, ill- treated—of whom the world was not worthy— wandering in deserts, mountains, caves, and the holes of the earth.

So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

to those who by perseverance in well- doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small.

Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.

Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

and in knowledge, self- control; and in self- control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness;

to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.

They will say of me,‘ There is righteousness and strength only in Yahweh.’” Even to him will men come. All those who raged against him will be disappointed.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.“ In a very little while, he who comes will come, and will not wait.But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
