又循其榮之權能、使爾凡事有大力、能恆忍寛容而喜樂、

體認天主、日新又新、仰賴天主榮耀之宏能，充以神力、俾克忍耐諸苦、顛沛造次、不改其樂；

being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,

We want you to be very strong, in keeping with his glorious power. We want you to be patient. We pray that you will never give up.

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, so that you may have great endurance and patience, joyfully

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;and perseverance, character; and character, hope.Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

And He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented—of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

“ Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,

To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

He shall say,‘ surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, And all shall be ashamed Who are incensed against Him.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:“ For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
