Look, the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will obliterate it from the face of the earth. However, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob— this is the LORD’s declaration—

主耶和华的眼目察看这有罪的国，必将这国从地上灭绝，却不将雅各家灭绝净尽。”这是耶和华说的。

維此干罪之國、主耶和華注目視之、將滅之於地、惟不盡滅雅各家、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華又曰斯民犯罪、我耶和華所目睹、必加翦滅、雅各之家、我滅之猶有孑遺、

主天主又曰、此國獲罪、我目鑒察、必滅之於地上、雖然、我不盡滅雅各族、

“ Surely the eyes of the Sovereign Lord are on the sinful kingdom. I will destroy it from the face of the earth. Yet I will not totally destroy the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord.

“ I am the Lord and King. My eyes are watching the sinful kingdom of Israel. I will wipe it off the face of the earth. But I will not totally destroy the people of Jacob,” announces the Lord.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the surface of the ground, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” declares the Lord.

“ I, the Sovereign Lord, am watching this sinful nation of Israel. I will destroy it from the face of the earth. But I will never completely destroy the family of Israel,” says the Lord.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, And I will eliminate it from the face of the earth; Nevertheless, I will not totally eliminate the house of Jacob,” Declares the Lord.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; save that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith Jehovah.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord Yahweh are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the surface of the earth; except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” says Yahweh.

And if they are driven by their enemies into captivity, from there I will command the sword to kill them. I will keep my eye on them for harm and not for good.

Go up among her vineyard terraces and destroy them, but do not finish them off. Prune away her shoots, for they do not belong to the LORD.

For I will be with you— this is the LORD’s declaration— to save you! I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have scattered you; however, I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you justly, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

I am watching over them for disaster and not for good, and everyone from Judah who is in the land of Egypt will meet his end by sword or famine until they are finished off.

“ This is what the LORD says: The one who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name:If this fixed order departs from before me— this is the LORD’s declaration— only then will Israel’s descendants cease to be a nation before me forever.

Then everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved, for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as the LORD promised, among the survivors the LORD calls.

This was the sin that caused the house of Jeroboam to be cut off and obliterated from the face of the earth.

Then the LORD said,“ I will wipe mankind, whom I created, off the face of the earth, together with the animals, creatures that crawl, and birds of the sky— for I regret that I made them.”

For a man’s ways are before the LORD’s eyes, and he considers all his paths.

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families he had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,then I might also reject the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David. That is, I would not take rulers from his descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But in fact, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

Although he flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will come, a wind from the LORD rising up from the desert. His water source will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will plunder the treasury of every precious item.Samaria will bear her guilt because she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword; their children will be dashed to pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.

for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God. Otherwise, the LORD your God will become angry with you and obliterate you from the face of the earth.

As you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations will drink continually. They will drink and gulp down and be as though they had never been.But there will be a deliverance on Mount Zion, and it will be holy; the house of Jacob will dispossess those who dispossessed them.

She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter, and the LORD said to him: Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel. I will certainly take them away.

Did the LORD strike Israel as he struck the one who struck Israel? Was Israel killed like those killed by the LORD?You disputed with Israel by banishing and driving her away. He removed her with his severe storm on the day of the east wind.

He will not leave you, destroy you, or forget the covenant with your ancestors that he swore to them by oath, because the LORD your God is a compassionate God.

Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing I have made I will wipe off the face of the earth.”

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD— his throne is in heaven. His eyes watch; his gaze examines everyone.The LORD examines the righteous, but he hates the wicked and those who love violence.Let him rain burning coals and sulfur on the wicked; let a scorching wind be the portion in their cup.

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah— how he pleads with God against Israel?Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars. I am the only one left, and they are trying to take my life!But what was God’s answer to him? I have left seven thousand for myself who have not bowed down to Baal.In the same way, then, there is also at the present time a remnant chosen by grace.Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.What then? Ephraim’s glory will fly away like a bird: no birth, no pregnancy, no conception.Even if they raise children, I will bereave them of each one. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!I have seen Ephraim like Tyre, planted in a meadow, so Ephraim will bring out his children to the executioner.Give them, LORD— What should you give? Give them a womb that miscarries and breasts that are dry!All their evil appears at Gilgal, for there I began to hate them. I will drive them from my house because of their evil, wicked actions. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.Ephraim is struck down; their roots are withered; they cannot bear fruit. Even if they bear children, I will kill the precious offspring of their wombs.My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they will become wanderers among the nations.

The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, observing the wicked and the good.

Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs,since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.
