he builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord builds his palace high in the heavens. He lays its foundation on the earth. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

你在水上立了樓閣棟梁，以雲彩為車輦，馭風的翅膀而行；

那造昴星和參星、使漆黑變為早晨、使白日變為黑夜，命令海裏的水傾倒於地上的、耶和華是他的名；

『因為你看，那塑造了山、創造了風、將「心意如何」指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏地之山丘的、萬軍之上帝永恆主耶和華是他的名。

你從你的樓閣上澆灌山嶺；因你所作之事的果效、大地就飽足。

天地與其萬彙都造齊了。

你將地奠定於根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。你以深淵如服裝遮蓋着大地；諸水停滯於山上。

上帝對摩西說：『我是永恆主耶和華』：又說：『你要對以色列人這麼說：「永恆主耶和華差遣了我來找你們。」』上帝又對摩西說：『你要對以色列人這麼說：「永恆主耶和華你們祖宗的上帝、亞伯拉罕的上帝、以撒的上帝、雅各的上帝、差遣了我來找你們；這就是我的名到永遠；這是我的稱號、代代無窮。」

永恆主發神諭說：連我、你們也不懼怕麼？在我面前、你們還不戰戰兢兢？我用沙做海的界限，永遠的定限，使它不能越犯；其水雖翻騰，卻不能得勝，其波浪雖匉訇，卻不能越過。

當挪亞活了六百歲那一年，二月十七日這一天，大深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的罅隙也敞開了。隨有傾盆大雨降在地上、四十晝又四十夜。就在這一天、挪亞就進了樓船；挪亞的兒子，閃、含、雅弗、和挪亞的妻子、跟他的三個兒媳婦也和他一同進去。他們和一切走獸、各從其類、一切牲口、各從其類，爬在地上的一切爬行動物、各從其類，一切禽鳥、各從其類：各種羽族各樣鳥兒：都進到挪亞那裏，入了樓船。凡有血肉的，就是裏面有生氣的活物，都兩隻兩隻地進去，那些進去的、是凡有血肉、有公有母進去的，正如上帝所吩咐挪亞的。永恆主就把他們關在船裏頭。洪水氾濫在地上四十天。水越往上長，越把樓船漂起，使它離地上升。水勢浩大，在地上大大地往上長，樓船在水面上漂來漂去。水勢在地上極其浩大，普天下的高山都被淹沒了。
