he builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord builds his palace high in the heavens. He lays its foundation on the earth. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

你在水上立起你楼阁的栋梁；你以云彩为战车；乘驾风的翅膀而行。

那创造昴星和参星，把幽暗变为黎明，把白日转为黑夜；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和华就是他的名。

看哪！他造了山，创造了风，把他的心意告诉人；他使晨光变为黑暗，他的脚踏在地的高处，耶和华万军的神就是他的名。

你从自己的楼阁中浇灌群山，因你所作的事的果效，大地就丰足。

这样，天地万物都造齐了。

你把大地坚立在根基上，使地永永远远不动摇。你用深水像衣服一般覆盖大地，使众水高过群山。

神回答摩西：“我是‘自有永有者’。”又说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘那自有者派我到你们这里来。’”神又对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘耶和华你们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神，差遣我到你们这里来；这就是我永久的名字，也是世世代代中我被记念的名字。’

‘你们连我都不惧怕吗？在我面前你们也不战兢吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永远的界限，海就不能越过；波浪翻腾，却不能漫过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法逾越。

挪亚六百岁那一年，二月十七日那一天，所有大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户都敞开了。大雨倾盆下在地上，一连四十昼夜。就在那一天，挪亚带着他的儿子闪、含、雅弗，以及他的妻子和三个儿媳，一同进了方舟。他们一家，所有走兽各从其类，所有牲畜各从其类，所有在地上爬行的动物各从其类，所有有羽有翼的飞禽各从其类，有生命、有气息的，都是一对一对来到挪亚那里，进入方舟。那些进去的，都是有生命的，一公一母进去，是照着神吩咐挪亚的。耶和华跟着就把方舟关起来。洪水就临到地上四十天；水不断上涨，把方舟升起，于是方舟就从地上浮起来。水势甚大，在地上大大上涨，方舟就在水面上漂来漂去。水势在地面上越来越大，天下所有的高山都被淹没了。
