Though they dig into Sheol, From there My hand will take them; And though they ascend to heaven, From there I will bring them down.

他们虽然挖透阴间，我的手必取出他们来；虽然爬上天去，我必拿下他们来；

“虽然他们挖透阴间，我的手必从那里拉出他们；虽然他们爬到天上，我必从那里拿下他们；

“虽然他们挖透阴间，我的手必从那里拉出他们；虽然他们爬到天上，我必从那里拿下他们；

即使他们挖洞钻进阴间，我也要把他们揪出来；即使他们爬上高天，我也要把他们拉下来；

如果他们下到阴间，就是在那里，我的手必把他们揪上来；如果他们升到天上，就是在那里，我必把他们拉下来；

彼雖穿穴入於陰府、我手必取之、雖攀至高天、我必降之、

雖入陰府、我必取之、雖升天堂、我將降之、

雖掘至示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓我手必取之由彼、雖升於天、我必降之由彼、

Though they dig down to the depths below, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down.

They might dig down deep. But my powerful hand will take them out of there. They might climb up to the heavens. But I will bring them down from there.

“ If they dig into Sheol, from there shall my hand take them; if they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down.

“ Even if they dig down to the place of the dead, I will reach down and pull them up. Even if they climb up into the heavens, I will bring them down.

Even if they could dig down into the netherworld, my hand would pull them up from there. Even if they could climb up to heaven, I would drag them down from there.

Though you make your home high like the eagle, Though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down,” declares the Lord.

Though Babylon ascends to the heavens, And though she fortifies her lofty stronghold, Destroyers will come from Me to her,” declares the Lord.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.If I take up the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will take hold of me.

You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. As for the terror you cause, The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, You who live in the clefts of the rock, Who occupy the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as an eagle’s, I will bring you down from there,” declares the Lord.

People will go into caves of the rocks And into holes in the ground Away from the terror of the Lord And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to terrify the earth.

And He said to them,“ I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

Though his arrogance reaches the heavens, And his head touches the clouds,

Sheol is naked before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.

But you said in your heart,‘ I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’Nevertheless you will be brought down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.Those who see you will stare at you, They will closely examine you, saying,‘ Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,
