願以色列的拯救來自錫安。上帝救回祂被擄的子民時，雅各要歡喜，以色列要快樂。

我曾決意剷除、拆毀、推翻、剿滅他們，降災給他們，將來我必塑造、栽培他們。這是耶和華說的。

「到那日，在我復興猶大和耶路撒冷的時候，我要聚集萬國，帶他們下到約沙法谷，在那裡審判他們，因為他們把我的子民，就是我的產業以色列，分散到各國，並瓜分我的土地。

耶和華說：「看啊，時候將到，從哈楠業樓直到角門，整個耶路撒冷城要重建起來歸給耶和華。城界要向外延伸到迦立山，再轉到歌亞。甚至拋屍、倒灰的整個山谷，以及從汲淪溪到東邊馬門拐角的所有田地都要歸給耶和華作聖地，永不再被傾覆、毀滅。」

耶和華憑祂的右手，憑祂大能的臂膀起誓說：「我再也不會把你的五穀給你的仇敵吃，再也不會讓外族人喝你辛苦釀製的新酒。收割的人必享受五穀，讚美耶和華，摘葡萄的人必在我聖所的院內喝酒。」

他們要安居在我賜給我僕人雅各的土地上，就是你們祖先居住的地方。他們世世代代都要居住在那裡，我僕人大衛要永遠做他們的王。我要與他們訂立永存的平安之約，使他們安居，人丁興旺。我的聖所要永遠設立在他們當中。我要住在他們中間。我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。各國的人看見我的聖所永遠設立在他們當中，便會知道是我耶和華使以色列聖潔了。』」

「『然而，我要使所多瑪、撒瑪利亞及她們的女兒們復興，並使你一同復興，

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：「我使被擄的猶大人回到故鄉後，他們要在猶大各城邑再次呼喊，『公義的居所啊，聖山啊，願耶和華賜福給你！』

「主耶和華說，『在我洗淨你們一切罪惡的日子，我要使你們的城邑有人居住，廢墟得以重建。荒涼之地必有人耕種，路人再也看不見荒地。他們會說，以前的荒涼之地如今竟變得像伊甸園，被毀壞廢棄的荒涼城邑已經設防，有人居住。這樣，你們四周其餘的民族便知道我耶和華已重建毀壞之處，重新耕種荒廢之地。我耶和華言出必行。』

「因此，主耶和華說，『我要使雅各被擄的人回到故土，我要憐憫全以色列人，熱心維護我的聖名。

他們的財物必遭搶掠，家園必淪為廢墟。他們建造房屋，卻不能住在裡面；栽種葡萄園，卻喝不到葡萄酒。

你們踐踏窮人，對他們橫徵暴斂。因此，你們用鑿過的石頭建房，卻不得居住在裡面；你們種植佳美的葡萄園，卻喝不到葡萄酒。
