主天主又曰、當是日宮殿歡樂之歌、必變悲哀之歌、宮殿歡樂之歌必變悲哀之歌或作謳歌於宮殿者無不號泣屍骸眾多、棄擲各處、人竟緘默不言、○

“ In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord,“ the songs in the temple will turn to wailing. Many, many bodies— flung everywhere! Silence!”

“ The time is coming when the songs in the temple will turn to weeping,” announces the Lord and King.“ Many, many bodies will be thrown everywhere! So be quiet!”

The songs of the temple shall become wailings in that day,” declares the Lord God.“ So many dead bodies!”“ They are thrown everywhere!”“ Silence!”

In that day the singing in the temple will turn to wailing. Dead bodies will be scattered everywhere. They will be carried out of the city in silence. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

In that day the temple songs will become wailing”— this is the Lord GOD’s declaration.“ Many dead bodies, thrown everywhere! Silence!”

The songs of the palace will turn to wailing on that day,” declares the Lord God.“ The corpses will be many; in every place they will throw them out. Hush!”

And the songs of the temple shall be wailings in that day, saith the Lord Jehovah: the dead bodies shall be many; in every place shall they cast them forth with silence.

The women singing in the temple will wail in that day.” The sovereign LORD is speaking.“ There will be many corpses littered everywhere! Be quiet!”

Then it shall come to pass, that if ten men remain in one house, they shall die.And when a relative of the dead, with one who will burn the bodies, picks up the bodies to take them out of the house, he will say to one inside the house,“ Are there any more with you?” Then someone will say,“ None.” And he will say,“ Hold your tongue! For we dare not mention the name of the Lord.”

Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments.

For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children— no longer to be outside! And the young men— no longer on the streets!Speak,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.’”

I will turn your feasts into mourning, And all your songs into lamentation; I will bring sackcloth on every waist, And baldness on every head; I will make it like mourning for an only son, And its end like a bitter day.

Therefore the Lord God of hosts, the Lord, says this:“ There shall be wailing in all streets, And they shall say in all the highways,‘ Alas! Alas!’ They shall call the farmer to mourning, And skillful lamenters to wailing.

Gird yourselves and lament, you priests; Wail, you who minister before the altar; Come, lie all night in sackcloth, You who minister to my God; For the grain offering and the drink offering Are withheld from the house of your God.

“ I sent among you a plague after the manner of Egypt; Your young men I killed with a sword, Along with your captive horses; I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

Horsemen charge with bright sword and glittering spear. There is a multitude of slain, A great number of bodies, Countless corpses— They stumble over the corpses—

And Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke, saying:‘ By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’” So Aaron held his peace.
