“ In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord,“ the songs in the temple will turn to wailing. Many, many bodies— flung everywhere! Silence!”

撤去你们嘈杂的歌声吧，我不想听到你们的琴音。

因为死亡从窗户爬进我们的城堡，吞灭街上的孩童和广场上的青年。耶和华说：“人们必尸横遍野，像散布在田野上的粪便，又像收割者身后没有收集的禾捆。”

我要使你们的节期变为丧礼，叫你们的欢歌变为哀歌。我要使你们都腰束麻布，剃光头发；我要使你们伤心欲绝，如丧独生子；我要使那日成为痛苦的日子。”

因此，主——万军之上帝耶和华说：“哀号之声要响遍各广场，哭喊之声将充满大街小巷。农夫被叫来哭泣，哭丧者被召来哀号。

黎巴嫩啊，打开你的门吧，好让火焰吞噬你的香柏树。松树啊，哀号吧，因为香柏树已经倒下，挺拔的树木已被毁坏。巴珊的橡树啊，哀号吧，因为茂密的树林已被砍倒。听啊，牧人在哀号，因为他们肥美的草场已被毁坏。听啊，狮子在吼叫，因为约旦河畔的丛林已被毁坏。

醉汉啊，醒过来哭泣吧！贪杯的人啊，哀号吧！你们再无美酒可饮了。

于是，耶和华的天使到亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。人们清早起来，发现到处是尸体。

撒玛利亚的居民要因伯·亚文的牛犊偶像而恐惧颤抖；祭拜它的人要哀伤，供奉它的祭司要痛哭，因为它的荣耀将离开他们。它要被带到亚述去，作为贡物献给强大的亚述王。以法莲因此而受人嘲笑，以色列因自己的偶像而蒙羞。

农夫啊，你们要忧伤！照料葡萄园的人啊，你们要哀号！因为田间的大麦和小麦全毁了。

祭司啊，穿着丧服痛哭吧；在祭坛前事奉的人啊，要哀号；我上帝的仆人啊，要披上麻衣过夜；因为再无素祭和奠祭献到你们上帝的殿中了。

“我在你们中间降下瘟疫，如从前降在埃及一样。我杀戮你们的青年，掳掠你们的战马，使你们军营中的死尸臭味扑鼻。尽管如此，你们仍不归向我。这是耶和华说的。

因此，论到犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬，耶和华说：“没有人会为他哀悼说，‘唉，我的弟兄啊！唉，我的姊妹啊！’没有人会为他哀悼说，‘唉，主人啊！唉，他的尊荣！’

骑士冲锋，刀光闪闪，矛枪生辉；被杀者众多，尸骨成堆，人们被遍地的尸体绊倒。

摩西告诉亚伦：“耶和华曾说过，‘我要在事奉我的人中显明我的圣洁，在所有子民面前彰显我的荣耀。’”亚伦默默无言。

我默然不语，一言不发，因为我受的责罚是出于你。
