你们卧在象牙床上，躺在榻上；你们吃羊群中的羊羔，和牛棚里的牛犊。你们闲逸地弹琴奏乐，又为自己制造乐器，像大卫一样。你们用大碗喝酒，用最贵重的膏油抹身；但你们并没有为约瑟的败落而痛心。因此，你们将是最先被掳去的人，宴乐享受的日子必要消逝。

在这节期以内，你和你的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你城里的利未人、寄居者、孤儿和寡妇，都要欢乐。

他们喝酒，赞美那些用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所做的神。当时，忽然有人手的指头出现，在王宫里灯台对面的粉墙上写字；王看见了那只正在写字的手掌，就脸色大变，心意惊惶，两脚无力，双膝彼此相碰。

愿黑暗与死荫索讨那日，愿密云停留在上面，愿白天的昏黑惊吓它。

因此，我满腰疼痛，痛苦抓住我，好像产妇的痛苦一样；我绞痛弯腰至听不见，我惊惶至看不到。我的心迷糊，惊恐威吓着我；我所爱慕的黄昏，竟使我战兢。

他们像缠结着的荆棘，像喝醉了的酒徒，又像枯干的禾秸，全都被吞灭了。

他们必为你放声痛哭，把尘土撒在自己的头上，在灰中打滚。他们必因你把头剃光，腰束麻布，为你痛心哭泣，苦苦悲哀。

亚比该到了拿八那里，他正在家中摆设筵席，好像帝王的筵席一样。拿八心里畅快，喝得烂醉如泥，所以无论大事小事亚比该都没有告诉他，直到第二天早晨。到了早晨，拿八酒醒了，他的妻子才把这些事告诉他，他就吓得魂不附体，立刻中风瘫痪了。大约过了十天，耶和华击打拿八，他就死了。

押沙龙吩咐他的仆人说：“你们注意！暗嫩酒酣耳热的时候，我对你们说：‘击杀暗嫩！’你们就把他杀死。不要惧怕，这不是我吩咐你们的吗？你们要坚强，作勇敢的人。”押沙龙的仆人就照押沙龙所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王所有的儿子就起来，各人骑上自己的骡子逃跑了。他们还在路上的时候，有消息传到大卫那里，说：“押沙龙杀了王所有的儿子，没有剩下一个。”王就起来，撕裂衣服，躺在地上。侍立在他身旁的所有臣仆，也都撕裂衣服。

你们唱歌的吵声要远离我，我不想听见你们的琴声。
