Seek the Lord and live, or he will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire; it will devour them, and Bethel will have no one to quench it.

Israel, look to the Lord and live. If you don’t, he will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire. It will burn everything up. And Bethel won’t have anyone to put it out.

Come back to the Lord and live! Otherwise, he will roar through Israel like a fire, devouring you completely. Your gods in Bethel won’t be able to quench the flames.

Seek the LORD and live, or he will spread like fire throughout the house of Joseph; it will consume everything with no one at Bethel to extinguish it.

Seek the Lord so that you may live, Or He will break through like a fire, house of Joseph, And it will consume with no one to extinguish it for Bethel,

Seek the Lord and live, Lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, And devour it, With no one to quench it in Bethel—

Seek Jehovah, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and it devour, and there be none to quench it in Beth- el.

Seek the LORD so you can live! Otherwise he will break out like fire against Joseph’s family; the fire will consume and no one will be able to quench it and save Bethel.

For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:“ Seek me and live;

Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said.

Say to the forest of the Negeb, Hear the word of the Lord: Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every green tree in you and every dry tree. The blazing flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from south to north shall be scorched by it.All flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.”

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire.

Circumcise yourselves to the Lord; remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.”

They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall continue in his territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall continue in their territory on the north.

The house of Joseph also went up against Bethel, and the Lord was with them.And the house of Joseph scouted out Bethel.( Now the name of the city was formerly Luz.)

who drink wine in bowls and anoint themselves with the finest oils, but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph!

For your servant knows that I have sinned. Therefore, behold, I have come this day, the first of all the house of Joseph to come down to meet my lord the king.”

The man Jeroboam was very able, and when Solomon saw that the young man was industrious he gave him charge over all the forced labor of the house of Joseph.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; it will burn and not be quenched.”

“ Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;

“ I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back because I have compassion on them, and they shall be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them.

When Israel saw Joseph’s sons, he said,“ Who are these?”Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said,“ Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.”Now the eyes of Israel were dim with age, so that he could not see. So Joseph brought them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them.And Israel said to Joseph,“ I never expected to see your face; and behold, God has let me see your offspring also.”Then Joseph removed them from his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near him.And Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on the head of Ephraim, who was the younger, and his left hand on the head of Manasseh, crossing his hands( for Manasseh was the firstborn).And he blessed Joseph and said,“ The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the boys; and in them let my name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”When Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him, and he took his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head.And Joseph said to his father,“ Not this way, my father; since this one is the firstborn, put your right hand on his head.”But his father refused and said,“ I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his offspring shall become a multitude of nations.”So he blessed them that day, saying,“ By you Israel will pronounce blessings, saying,‘ God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh.’” Thus he put Ephraim before Manasseh.

say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph( that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand.

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

And the strong shall become tinder, and his work a spark, and both of them shall burn together, with none to quench them.

Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?

“ If fire breaks out and catches in thorns so that the stacked grain or the standing grain or the field is consumed, he who started the fire shall make full restitution.
