do not seek Bethel, do not go to Gilgal, do not journey to Beersheba. For Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will be reduced to nothing.”

Do not look to Bethel. Do not go to Gilgal. Do not travel to Beersheba. The people of Gilgal will be taken away as prisoners. Nothing will be left of Bethel.”

亞伯拉罕植林於別是巴、在彼禱告永生耶和華天主之名、

撒母耳謂民曰、我儕盍往吉甲、在彼復建其國、或作復行立王之禮

彼之諸惡、行在吉甲、在彼我深憾之、因其惡行、我將自我室而逐之、不復加眷愛、其諸牧伯俱行背逆、

天主又選世之卑賤者、被藐視者、人所視為無有者、以廢世之有者、

蓋強暴者已已或作必下同滅、侮慢者已亡、務惡者已絕、

任爾設謀、終必無成、任爾定命、終必不立、因天主護祐我儕、因天主護祐我儕原文作因天主與我儕偕○

爾生子女、不為爾有、因為人所擄也、

主曰、爾妻將為妓於城中、爾之子女、殞亡於刃、爾之田畝、以繩量度分予人、爾必死於不潔之地、以色列人必被擄掠、離其故土、

凡舟長舟子、及乘舟者、與諸航海之商旅、皆遠立、

在爾民中、必起爭戰荒亂之事、爾諸鞏固之城、悉必見毀、如沙勒幔在大戰之日毀伯亞比勒、是時母與嬰孩同被擲碎、爾曹遇此、皆伯特利所使、皆因爾之大惡、以色列王必朝時殞亡、

基列之民、固犯罪愆、固行虛妄、吉甲人愆尤更甚、在吉甲獻牛為祭、彼之祭壇、多如田隴之土壘、

然我儕與全備之人無不言智慧、但非斯世之智慧、亦非斯世有權位終必滅者之智慧、

列國設謀、為主所敗、異邦定計、為主所破、

歲巡伯特利、吉甲、米斯巴、在此數處為以色列人聽訟、

我必毀爾邱壇、滅爾日像、使爾之屍與爾偶像偃仆一處、我心必憎爾、使爾城邑荒涼、使爾殿宇寂寥、我不再饗爾之馨香、使爾土地荒蕪、甚至居爾地之仇敵、無不驚異、

亞文之邱壇、致以色列取罪、必遭傾毀、荊棘蒺藜、叢生於祭壇、斯民將對山曰、掩蓋我儕、對嶺曰、覆壓我儕、覆壓我儕原文作墮於我上

憾爾者必蒙羞、惡人之幕、必歸於無有、
