Is Gilead iniquity? they are altogether false; in Gilgal they sacrifice bullocks; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

We speak wisdom, however, among them that are fullgrown: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought:

Jehovah bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.

And he went from year to year in circuit to Beth- el, and Gilgal, and Mizpah; and he judged Israel in all those places.

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun- images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.And I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; And the tent of the wicked shall be no more.
