Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.

Look to what is good, not to what is evil. Then you will live. And the Lord God who rules over all will be with you, just as you say he is.

Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say,“ Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Then David said to Solomon his son,“ Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and who came from the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the Lord and confess the God of Israel, but not in truth or right.For they call themselves after the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; the Lord of hosts is his name.

What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good?Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.Do not trust in these deceptive words:‘ This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,

“ Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”( which means, God with us).

Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.

Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil,learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us.

The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph’s charge, because the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.

The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands.

and he went out to meet Asa and said to him,“ Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
