他又对我说：“人子啊，我必在耶路撒冷折断他们的杖，就是断绝他们的粮。他们吃饼要按分量，忧虑而吃；喝水也要按制子，惊惶而喝；使他们缺粮缺水，彼此惊惶，因自己的罪孽消灭。”

她行这些事以后，我说她必归向我，她却不归向我。她奸诈的妹妹犹大也看见了。

他们的贵胄打发家僮打水；他们来到水池，见没有水，就拿着空器皿，蒙羞惭愧，抱头而回。耕地的也蒙羞抱头；因为无雨降在地上，地都干裂。

你要吃，却吃不饱；你的虚弱必显在你中间。你必挪去，却不得救护；所救护的，我必交给刀剑。

“困苦穷乏人寻求水却没有；他们因口渴，舌头干燥。我耶和华必应允他们；我以色列的神必不离弃他们。我要在净光的高处开江河，在谷中开泉源；我要使沙漠变为水池，使干地变为涌泉。

“我以旱风、霉烂攻击你们，你们园中许多菜蔬、葡萄树、无花果树、橄榄树都被剪虫所吃；你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。“我降瘟疫在你们中间，像在埃及一样；用刀杀戮你们的少年人，使你们的马匹被掳掠，营中尸首的臭气扑鼻；你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。“我倾覆你们中间的城邑，如同我从前倾覆所多玛、蛾摩拉一样，使你们好像从火中抽出来的一根柴；你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。

以色列的骄傲当面见证自己，虽遭遇这一切，他们仍不归向耶和华他们的神，也不寻求他。

我在耶路撒冷的先知中曾见可憎恶的事；他们行奸淫，做事虚妄，又坚固恶人的手，甚至无人回头离开他的恶。他们在我面前都像所多玛；耶路撒冷的居民都像蛾摩拉。
