And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

“我使你们在一切城中牙齿干净，在你们各处粮食缺乏，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。

“雖然我使你們各城的人牙齒乾淨，各處都缺乏糧食；但你們仍不歸向我。”這是耶和華的宣告。

『然而是我使你們在各城牙齒乾淨、無物可嚼，使你們在各處糧食缺乏；你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。

我於諸邑中、使爾齒淨、各地乏食、然爾猶不歸我、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華又曰、我使爾邑中、糈糧匱乏、齒間絕食、爾尚不歸誠於我、

我已使爾於爾諸邑中、齒淨無食、在爾各居處絕糧、爾猶不歸誠於我、此乃主所言、

“ I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town, yet you have not returned to me,” declares the Lord.

“ I made sure your stomachs were empty in every city. You did not have enough bread in any of your towns. In spite of that, you still have not returned to me,” announces the Lord.

“ I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places, yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.

“ I brought hunger to every city and famine to every town. But still you would not return to me,” says the Lord.

I gave you absolutely nothing to eat in all your cities, a shortage of food in all your communities, yet you did not return to me. This is the LORD’s declaration.

“ But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

“ Also I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

I gave you absolutely nothing to eat in all your cities, a shortage of food in all your communities, yet you did not return to Me. This is the Lord’s declaration.

“ But surely I gave you no food to eat in any of your cities; you lacked food everywhere you live. Still you did not come back to me.” The LORD is speaking!

“ I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in every town; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye[ turned] not to me, saith the LORD.

O LORD,[ are] not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them,[ but] they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

[ And] when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver[ you] your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye[ even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he[ is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.Who knoweth[ if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him;[ even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this[ is that] king Ahaz.

And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and[ there was] a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets[ were] sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.

And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass’s head was[ sold] for fourscore[ pieces] of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove’s dung for five[ pieces] of silver.And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son tomorrow.So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.

LORD,[ when] thy hand is lifted up, they will not see:[ but] they shall see, and be ashamed for[ their] envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

Why[ then] is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.I hearkened and heard,[ but] they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

I will go[ and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And[ there was] a sore famine in Samaria.

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary[ food], and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

And Elijah the Tishbite,[ who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab,[ As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

So two[ or] three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured[ them]: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and[ from] your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.Your fathers, where[ are] they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather[ but] little in; for the locust shall consume it.

And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine,[ and] they rebel against me.Though I have bound[ and] strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.They return,[ but] not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this[ shall be] their derision in the land of Egypt.
