He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name.

The Lord forms the mountains. He creates the wind. He makes his thoughts known to human beings. He turns sunrise into darkness. He rules over even the highest places on earth. His name is the Lord God Who Rules Over All.

For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name!

For the Lord is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The Lord God of Heaven’s Armies is his name!

主耶和華說：「到那日，我要使太陽中午落下，使白晝變為黑暗。

但天上的上帝能揭開奧秘，祂已把將來要發生的事告訴了王。王啊，你在床上夢見了將來的事，揭開奧秘的上帝已把將來的事指示給你。上帝將王做的夢啟示給我，並非因為我的智慧勝過其他人，而是要讓王知道夢的意思和王的心事。以下是王在床上做的夢和腦中出現的異象。

趁著你們的上帝耶和華還未使黑暗來臨，你們還未在漆黑的山上絆倒，要把榮耀歸給祂。否則，祂必使你們期望的光明變為幽冥和黑暗。

你充滿力量，以大能創造群山，

但雅各的上帝截然不同，祂是萬物的創造者，被稱為「萬軍之耶和華」，以色列是祂的子民。

摩西向天伸杖，埃及全境便漆黑了三天之久。

祂一聲令下，天上便大水澎湃；祂使雲霧從地極上升，使閃電在雨中劃過，使風從祂的倉庫吹出。

所以，我要使你們被擄到大馬士革以外的地方。」這是耶和華說的，祂的名字是萬軍之上帝。

雲柱停在埃及軍隊和以色列人的中間，埃及軍隊這邊一片黑暗，以色列人那邊卻有光，雙方整夜都無法接近對方。

主——萬軍之上帝耶和華說：「你們要聽這話，去警告雅各家。

你們還自稱為聖城的人，聲稱倚靠名為萬軍之耶和華的以色列的上帝。

我或坐下或起來，你都知道，你從遠處就知道我的心思意念。

以色列啊，你多麼有福！蒙耶和華拯救之人啊，誰能像你？祂是你的盾牌，你得勝的寶劍。敵人要向你屈服，被你踐踏。」

主耶和華是我的力量，祂使我的腳如母鹿的蹄，穩行在高處。這首歌交給樂長，用弦樂器伴奏。

「我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裡？你若那麼聰明，請告訴我。你可知道誰為大地定的尺寸？誰用準繩把它丈量？是什麼支撐大地的根基？誰為它安放的基石？當時晨星齊聲歌唱，眾天使都發出歡呼。「大海從母胎奔騰而出時，誰為它劃定界限？是我為大海披上雲彩，為它裹上厚厚的幽暗。是我為它劃定界限，並安上門和閂，說，『你到此為止，不可越界；你狂傲的波濤要停在這裡。』

祂使雲霧從地極上升，發出電光，帶來雨水，從祂的倉庫帶出風來。

祂一聲令下，冰雪便溶化，微風便吹拂，河川便奔流。

以下是耶和華關於以色列的啟示。鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地的根基、塑造人靈魂的耶和華說：

那日，他們必向以色列咆哮，如怒海澎湃。人若觀看大地，只見黑暗和艱難，光明被密雲遮蓋。

誰曾用手心量海水？誰曾用手掌度蒼天？誰曾用升斗盛大地的塵土？誰曾用秤稱高山，用天平稱丘陵？

耶和華使他們馳騁在大地的高處，吃田間的五穀，磐石中的蜂蜜，石頭地產的油；

雅各的上帝卻迥然不同，因為祂創造萬物，以色列人是祂的產業，祂名叫「萬軍之耶和華」。

萬軍之上帝——主耶和華憑自己起誓：「我憎惡雅各的驕傲，厭棄他的城堡。我要把城和城中的一切都交給敵人。」

請耶穌的法利賽人看在眼裡，心想：「如果這人真的是先知，就該知道摸祂的是誰，是個什麼樣的女人，她是個罪人。」耶穌對他說：「西門，我有話跟你說。」西門答道：「老師，請說。」

不用別人告訴祂，祂也深知人的內心。

風隨意吹動，你聽見它的聲音，卻不知道它從哪裡來，往哪裡去。凡從聖靈生的人也是這樣。」

耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「你們為什麼心懷惡念呢？
