城中若吹角，百姓豈不戰兢嗎？災禍若臨到一城，豈非耶和華所降的嗎？

若城中响起号角，居民岂不恐惧颤抖？若灾祸降临城中，岂不是耶和华的作为？

城中如果吹起号角，居民怎会不惊慌呢？灾祸如果临到某城，不是耶和华所降的吗？

城中若吹角，百姓豈不驚恐呢？災禍若臨到一城，豈非耶和華所降的嗎？

若城中響起號角，居民豈不恐懼顫抖？若災禍降臨城中，豈不是耶和華的作為？

城中如果吹起號角，居民怎會不驚慌呢？災禍如果臨到某城，不是耶和華所降的嗎？

城中若吹了號角，人民哪有不震顫發抖呢？若有災禍臨到一座城，豈不是永恆主所降的麼？

邑中吹角、民豈不懼乎、邑中遭禍、豈非耶和華所為乎、

邑中吹角、民豈得不懼、邑中有禍、豈非我耶和華使之然乎、

邑中吹角、民豈不驚乎、邑中有禍、豈非主所降乎、

When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it?

When someone blows a trumpet in a city, don’t the people tremble with fear? When trouble comes to a city, hasn’t the Lord caused it?

Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city, unless the Lord has done it?

When the ram’s horn blows a warning, shouldn’t the people be alarmed? Does disaster come to a city unless the Lord has planned it?

If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, aren’t people afraid? If a disaster occurs in a city, hasn’t the LORD done it?

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will the people not tremble? If a disaster occurs in a city, has the Lord not brought it about?

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?

Shall the trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not be afraid? shall evil befall a city, and Jehovah hath not done it?

If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, aren’t people afraid? If a disaster occurs in a city, hasn’t the Lord done it?

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done[ it]?

If an alarm sounds in a city, do people not fear? If disaster overtakes a city, is the LORD not responsible?

Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and Yahweh hasn’t done it?

我造光，又造暗；施平安，又降災禍；做成這一切的是我－耶和華。

是吹角吶喊的日子，要攻擊堅固的城，攻擊高大的城樓。

萬軍之耶和華起誓說：「我怎樣思想，必照樣成就；我怎樣定意，必照樣堅立，要在我的地上擊破亞述，在我的山上將它踐踏。它的軛必離開受壓制的人，它的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。」這是向全地所定的旨意，向萬國所伸出的手。萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能阻撓呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能使它縮回呢？

從前你們的意思是要害我，但上帝的意思原是好的，要使許多百姓得以存活，成就今日的光景。

你們要在猶大傳揚，在耶路撒冷宣告，說：「當在國中吹角，高聲呼叫說：『你們當聚集！我們好進入堅固城！』

你們當在基比亞吹角，在拉瑪吹號，在伯‧亞文發出警報；便雅憫哪，留意你的背後！

便雅憫人哪，當逃離耶路撒冷，在提哥亞吹號角，在伯‧哈基琳升信號，因為有災禍與大毀滅從北方逼近。

既然我們知道主是可畏的，就勸導人；但是上帝是認識我們的，我盼望你們的良心也認識我們。

守望者見刀劍臨到那地，若吹角警戒百姓，

做了你手和你旨意所預定必成就的事。

萬國的王啊，誰不敬畏你？敬畏你本是合宜的；列國所有的智慧人中，在他們一切的國度裏，都沒有能與你相比的。

他既按着上帝確定的旨意和預知被交與人，你們就藉着不法之人的手把他釘在十字架上，殺了。

你們難道不懼怕我嗎？在我面前還不戰兢嗎？這是耶和華說的。我以沙為海的界限，作永遠的條例，使它不得越過。波浪洶湧，卻不能勝過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法越過。
