“ On the day I punish Israel for her sins, I will destroy the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground.

在瑪拿西、以法蓮、西緬、延及拿弗他利諸邑、及其四周破壞之處、毀諸祭壇、斫諸亞舍拉、碎諸偶像、搗之成粉、在以色列遍地斫諸日像、乃歸耶路撒冷、○

毋求伯特利、毋往吉甲、毋赴別是巴、蓋吉甲人必見擄掠、伯特利必歸烏有、惟求主則可得生、否則恐主莅臨約瑟家、如火炎炎、焚燬伯特利、無人撲滅、

今爾導民往我所言之地、我之使者必為爾前導、迨我討罪之日、我將討其罪、

此事既畢、所有以色列眾、往猶大諸邑、毀偶像、斫諸亞舍拉、在猶大、便雅憫、以法蓮、瑪拿西遍地、廢崇邱、拆祭壇、滅之淨盡、然後以色列人眾各返故邑、各歸其業、

故我必使撒瑪利亞傾圮、變為田間之石堆、亦為植葡萄園之處、我必擲其石於谷、使其基址顯露、其中雕刻之像、俱必見碎、所得之贈物、贈物或作財寶必焚於火、其諸偶像、我必毀之、其諸偶像我必毀之或作其偶像處我必使荒蕪彼所積之珍寶、如妓所得之贈物、後將仍以之贈妓、

神人奉主命向壇而呼曰、壇乎、壇乎、主如是云、大衛家將生一子、名約西亞、必以邱壇之祭司、焚香於爾上者、殺於爾上、人亦以死者死者原文作人之骨、焚於爾上、神人又設一預兆曰、此壇必裂、其上之灰必傾、此主所言之預兆、耶羅波安王聞神人向伯特利壇所呼之言、遂自壇上伸手曰、當執之、耶羅波安向神人所伸之手即枯、不能復縮、壇亦裂、壇上之灰亦傾、應神人奉主命所言之預兆、
