The people are incapable of doing right— this is the LORD’s declaration— those who store up violence and destruction in their citadels.

那些以强暴抢夺财物、积蓄在自己家中的人不知道行正直的事。”这是耶和华说的。

其民不知行正、在其宅第中、集不義之財、及強奪之物、

“ They do not know how to do right,” declares the Lord,“ who store up in their fortresses what they have plundered and looted.”

“ They do not know how to do what is right,” announces the Lord.“ They store up stolen goods in their forts.”

“ They do not know how to do right,” declares the Lord,“ those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.”

“ My people have forgotten how to do right,” says the Lord.“ Their fortresses are filled with wealth taken by theft and violence.

But they do not know how to do what is right,” declares the Lord,“ these who store up violence and devastation in their citadels.”

For they do not know to do right,’ Says the Lord,‘ Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.’”

For they know not to do right, saith Jehovah, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

“ They do not know how to do what is right.”( The LORD is speaking.)“ They store up the spoils of destructive violence in their fortresses.

“ Indeed they don’t know to do right,” says Yahweh,“ Who hoard plunder and loot in their palaces.”

“ For my people are fools; they do not know me. They are foolish children, without understanding. They are skilled in doing what is evil, but they do not know how to do what is good.”

On that day I will punish all who skip over the threshold, who fill their master’s house with violence and deceit.

Will evildoers never understand? They consume my people as they consume bread; they do not call on the LORD.

Then he said to me,“ This is the curse that is going out over the whole land, for everyone who is a thief, contrary to what is written on one side, has gone unpunished, and everyone who swears falsely, contrary to what is written on the other side, has gone unpunished.I will send it out,”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies—“ and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by my name. It will stay inside his house and destroy it along with its timbers and stones.”

They deliberately overlook this: By the word of God the heavens came into being long ago and the earth was brought about from water and through water.

Then I thought: They are just the poor; they have been foolish. For they don’t understand the way of the LORD, the justice of their God.

Those who turn justice into wormwood also throw righteousness to the ground.

Do horses gallop on the cliffs? Does anyone plow there with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood—

Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasure in the last days.Look! The pay that you withheld from the workers who mowed your fields cries out, and the outcry of the harvesters has reached the ears of the Lord of Armies.

Since you have plundered many nations, all the peoples who remain will plunder you— because of human bloodshed and violence against lands, cities, and all who live in them.Woe to him who dishonestly makes wealth for his house to place his nest on high, to escape the grasp of disaster!You have planned shame for your house by wiping out many peoples and sinning against your own self.For the stones will cry out from the wall, and the rafters will answer them from the woodwork.
