They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. In the house of their god they drink wine taken as fines.

They lie down beside every altar on clothes they have taken. They lie on those clothes until the owner pays back what is owed. In the house of their God they drink wine that was paid as fines.

他若是個貧困的人，你不可留他的抵押品而去睡覺。日落的時候、你總要把抵押品還給他，讓他蓋着自己的外衣睡覺，他就給你祝福；這在永恆主你的上帝面前就算為你的仁義了。『困苦貧窮的雇工、無論是你的族弟兄、或是寄居在你的地你的城內的、你都不可欺壓他。你要當天發給他工價，不可等到日落才給他——因為他貧困，他心直掛念着那工錢——恐怕他呼求永恆主而控告你，你就有了罪。『父親不可因兒子的緣故而被處死，兒女也不可因父親的緣故而被處死：各人只要各因自己的罪而被處死。『你不可對寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直，也不可拿寡婦的衣服作當頭。

就使你甚至於拿鄰舍的衣裳做當頭，在日落以前你也要還給他；因為這是他惟一的遮蓋物，是他的衣裳，做他皮膚之遮蓋物的；若是沒有，他拿甚麼睡覺呢？將來他向我哀叫，我就應允，因為我是有恩惠的。

那些以大碗喝酒，用上好的油抹身，卻不為約瑟的破敗而憂傷成病的！

『在撒瑪利亞山的巴珊母牛啊，你們要聽這話！你們欺壓貧寒，壓碎窮苦，對你們的丈夫說：「拿來，我們喫喝吧！」

示劍人出去到田野間，割取葡萄，踹酒，開嬉樂節會，進他們的神廟裏喫喝，咒罵亞比米勒。

坐在華麗床上，有隻案桌擺在前面，將我的香料和膏油放在上頭。

他們以我人民的罪而自肥，他們因人民的罪孽而高興。

不虧負人，總把債務的當頭交還；他不搶奪人的物件，卻將自己的食物給了饑餓的人，將衣服給赤身裸體的人遮身；

你們也不要做拜偶像的，像他們有人、如經上所記『人民坐下喫喝，起來遊戲』那樣。

困苦貧窮的人他給虧負了，人的物件他搶奪了，當頭他沒還給人，偶像他舉目瞻仰了，可厭惡的事他行了，

倘若有人見你這「有知識的」在偶像廟裏坐席，他的良知若是軟弱，豈不是要「被建立起來！」去喫祭偶像之物麼？

有禍啊那些躺在象牙床上，在床榻上伸着懶腰，喫羣中現挑的羊羔，和棚間之肥牛犢的！

你們不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能分享主的筵席，又分享鬼的筵席啊。

你在高而峻的山上安設你的床，又上那裏去獻祭牲。
