Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gaza, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole people, to deliver them up to Edom:

耶和华如此说：“迦萨三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚；因为她掳掠众民交给以东。

耶和华如此说：“迦萨三番四次犯罪，掳掠全体百姓交给以东，我必不撤销对它的惩罚。

耶和华如此说：“迦萨三番四次犯罪，掳掠全体百姓交给以东，我必不撤销对它的惩罚。

耶和华说：“迦萨人三番四次地犯罪，我必不收回对他们的惩罚，因为他们把被掳之人全都带走，卖到以东做奴隶。

“耶和华这样说：‘迦萨三番四次犯罪，我必不收回惩罚他的命令；因为他带走全部的俘虏，交给以东。

耶和華如此說：迦薩三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她擄掠眾民交給以東。

耶和華如此說：「迦薩三番四次犯罪，擄掠全體百姓交給以東，我必不撤銷對它的懲罰。

耶和華如此說：「迦薩三番四次犯罪，擄掠全體百姓交給以東，我必不撤銷對它的懲罰。

耶和華說：「迦薩人三番四次地犯罪，我必不收回對他們的懲罰，因為他們把被擄之人全都帶走，賣到以東做奴隸。

“耶和華這樣說：‘迦薩三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他帶走全部的俘虜，交給以東。

永恆主這麼說：『迦薩三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他們使全體人民都流亡、去送交以東。

耶和華曰、迦薩干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其盡虜人民、付於以東也、

耶和華又曰、迦薩人犯罪、至三至四、且虜民甚眾、鬻於以東、我必罰其罪、

主如是云、迦薩人犯罪、至三至四、更擄民眾多、付於以東、故我降罰以報之、必不挽回、

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not relent. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom,

The Lord says,“ The people of Gaza have sinned again and again. So I will judge them. They captured whole communities. They sold them to Edom.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they carried into exile a whole people to deliver them up to Edom.

This is what the Lord says:“ The people of Gaza have sinned again and again, and I will not let them go unpunished! They sent whole villages into exile, selling them as slaves to Edom.

The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Gaza for three crimes, even four, because they exiled a whole community, handing them over to Edom.

This is what the Lord says:“ For three offenses of Gaza, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, Because they led into exile an entire population To turn them over to Edom.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom.

The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Gaza for three crimes, even four, because they exiled a whole community, handing them over to Edom.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away[ the punishment] thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver[ them] up to Edom:

This is what the LORD says:“ Because Gaza has committed three crimes– make that four!– I will not revoke my decree of judgment. They deported a whole community and sold them to Edom.

Yahweh says:“ For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;

The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the lowland, and of the South of Judah, and had taken Beth- shemesh, and Aijalon, and Gederoth, and Soco with the towns thereof, and Timnah with the towns thereof, Gimzo also and the towns thereof: and they dwelt there.

In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that strangers carried away his substance, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Tyre, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole people to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.

And these are the golden tumors which the Philistines returned for a trespass- offering unto Jehovah: for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Ashkelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;

Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also, and shall be sore pained; and Ekron, for her expectation shall be put to shame; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

because of the day that cometh to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper that remaineth: for Jehovah will destroy the Philistines, the remnant of the isle of Caphtor.Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nought, the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?

and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem unto the sons of the Grecians, that ye may remove them far from their border;

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

Rejoice not, O Philistia, all of thee, because the rod that smote thee is broken; for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth an adder, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.And the first- born of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety; and I will kill thy root with famine, and thy remnant shall be slain.Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou art melted away, O Philistia, all of thee; for there cometh a smoke out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.

For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation; they shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron shall be rooted up.Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea- coast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Jehovah is against you, O Canaan, the land of the Philistines; I will destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.And the sea- coast shall be pastures, with cottages for shepherds and folds for flocks.And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks thereupon; in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening; for Jehovah their God will visit them, and bring back their captivity.

Because thou hast had a perpetual enmity, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;

The word of Jehovah that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.

And Jehovah stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians that are beside the Ethiopians:and they came up against Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king’s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

But an angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza: the same is desert.
